The Squamish Local is a registered Local Youth in Care Network of the Federation of BC Youth in Care Networks (FBCYICN). Locals provide programming that is designed by youth, for youth. Our goal is to increase access to local supports, resources, and outdoor recreation for youth accessing care throughout the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples along the Sea to Sky Corridor of Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Lower Stl’atl’imx Nations (Lil’wat, Mt. Currie), Samahquam, Skatin, Xa’xtsa (Douglas) and N’Quatqua.
