Helping seniors remain independent

Sea to Sky Better at Home offers support services to help seniors 65+ with simple non-medical day-to-day tasks, making it easier for them to stay in their own homes, remain independent, socialize and stay connected to their community.

Services: light housekeeping, transportation, grocery shopping, friendly visiting, minor home repairs, yard work.

Better at Home recognizes that seniors are an important and growing part of our communities. We provide assistance with simple everyday tasks. The program operates year round in Whistler, Pemberton, Squamish and surrounding areas. Services are provided on an as needed basis. The purpose of this program is to support seniors and Elders to age in place with dignity and to stay socially connected.

Better at Home volunteer services include housekeeping, grocery shopping, minor home repairs, yard work and transportation to appointments. Friendly visits as well as community events and activities help keep seniors and Elders socially engaged and connected.

All seniors 65+ living in Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton and Mt. Currie are eligible to apply. Self referrals are accepted. Please complete the application below and return to the locations listed on the referral form.
