Squamish Youth Resource Centre

A great way to grow up

This free meeting place in Squamish provides both a drop-in and structured program. The centre is for local teenagers but young adults between 19 and 24 years of age can also access some services.

The youth centre provides Squamish youth with:

  • A safe place to drop in and hang out
  • Movies, games and crafts
  • Pool table, Foosball, Ping Pong, Air Hockey
  • Planned daily activities — like photography, gardening and cooking meals
  • Recreational and cultural out-trips
  • Activities at Brennan Park
  • Healthy snacks
  • Advocacy and support to access resources, services and information
  • Food, shower facilities and clothes
  • Someone to talk to, confidentially

1135 Carson Place, behind Howe Sound Secondary School

  • Mondays: 3-8pm
  • Tuesdays: 3-8pm
  • Wednesdays: 3-8pm
  • Thursdays: 3-9pm
  • Fridays: 3-9pm

The centre is funded by the District of Squamish and supported by the Home Depot Canada Foundation.
