September 30, 2021, marks Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, acknowledging our tragic and painful history and the ongoing impacts of residential schools and racism in our country.

To honour the day, SSCS will host a virtual Conversation on Indigenous Reconciliation on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.  This event is an invitation to come together to share ideas, stories and to explore how we can make the culture, history, and modern reality of local Indigenous Peoples become present and apparent throughout our organization, community, and region.

Hosted by SSCS and guided by members of both the Squamish and Lil’wat Nations, we invite you to participate in discussing Reconciliation: what it is, why it’s needed, and why conversations about Reconciliation are important. The event is intended to be a safe and inclusive space for everyone.

Please join us virtually by Zoom.
