Camp Summit Retreat – Sunday June 13 -Registration now closed.
On June 13 from 10am-5pm we will kick off our Wild Connections program with a full day retreat at Camp Summit in the Squamish Valley. This retreat will be a space for participants to meet each other and connect through outdoor activities. The group will move through several facilitated activities including low ropes, geocaching, campfire, high ropes, and mountain biking! All activities are challenge by choice and based on individual comfort levels – all skill and experience levels are welcome!
Wild Connections Summer Sessions will take place two days a month in July and August 2021 with a celebration session to wrap up.
One day each month will focus on building outdoor skills like trip planning, staying safe, navigation and more. We will meet in local parks and spaces to connect as a group, learn about each other, and ultimately themselves. The second day the group will head out to do local outdoor recreation activities like rock climbing and white-water rafting. Each activity is challenge by choice and the group will learn about comfort zones all while having fun!
The summer will wrap up with a BBQ and activities to celebrate their achievements and look forward to what is next.
No experience is necessary and we encourage folks from all backgrounds to register if you are interested!
