Ride Away Stigma Assistance Fund
Making it easier to talk about things
Ride Away Stigma in partnership with Sea to Sky Community Services has established an assistance fund. The fund provides financial assistance to Squamish males, age 15 and up, wanting to see a counsellor. The fund will help pay for up to six sessions provided that the individual contributes $30 towards the cost of each counselling session.
Wide community support made this program possible
This men’s counselling assistance fund has been made possible because of the hundreds of community members participating in Ride Away Stigma. Ride Away Stigma was founded by Danielle Berman and Greg Gardner GM is the title sponsor for the Squamish ride. We are very grateful to the clinical counsellors participating in this program, as they’ve agreed to reduce their fees so that the fund can help as many people as possible. This initiative is supported by the Jordan Andreeff Fund.
