Community and Employment Services
This program helps adults with developmental disabilities to prepare for, find and maintain employment. This program also offers support to employers who already have or seek to employ adults with developmental disabilities.

A referral through Community Living BC is required. Participants who recieve Individualized Funding or have private funds may apply for service to the Director of Community Living. Acceptance is based on the capacity of the programs.

SSCS offers three free programs to meet your specific needs for assistance and support to reach your employment goals.

Achieve
The Achieve program provides support for people with disabilities to reach their employment goals through increased access to disability supports, increased connection to the community, access to short and long-term training, workshops, 1 – 1 coaching, better understanding of the disability as it relates to employment and more. 

Jobwave
JobWave offers customized employment services over 90 days. Services include Job Club, job search services and supports, employability skills and lifeskills workshops, short-term training, 1 – 1 coaching, and more.

Jobsight
Jobsight provides employment support for individuals recovering from mental health or addiction challenges. Services include support in accessing community networks, resources and information, clothing and transportation support, 1 – 1 coaching, short-term training and lifeskills workshops.
